When planning your special day make sure you do your homework before you just go with any limousine or party bus company. There are a lot of limo companies that like to take advantage of people in many different ways. One thing to look out for is to make sure the company you are planning on using has an actual store front and can show you the vehicle before you rent it. A lot of party bus companies are just sub contractors and when the bus shows up for you, it will have a different name on the side than you were expecting. Another good thing to do when renting a party bus is to read up on the companies you are considering to use. Here at Van Hove Limousine we always try to go above and beyond to keep all of our customers happy and have many positive reviews to back that statement up.
Along with regular maintenance our vehicles also have inspections on each of them once a year by a member of the Michigan Department of Transportation, or MDOT for short. These inspections are mandatory and the inspector puts a small sticker on the side of the vehicle showing it has passed. If the limousine company you choose does not receive them, they are operating illegally and if they get stopped the vehicle will be towed, leaving you on the side of the road. These detailed inspections also help prevent future breakdowns by fixing things before they become problems. Some things are unpredictable but this definitely helps make us as reliable as possible.
