Don’t look now but Detroit Tigers Spring training is right around the corner. Even for the people that are not true fans, this brings excitement. The excitement comes from knowing what Detroit Tigers opening day is all about. For some people it marks the first day of Spring. It is a day to skip work and head to downtown Detroit to party with all of the other fans.
We are all hoping Mr. Ilitch makes some big moves this off-season and makes the Detroit Tigers a great team for the 2017 season so they can make a run at the 2017 World Series championship. The pitchers and catchers report on February 13th and their first Spring training game is February 23rd.
The Detroit Tigers home opener is scheduled for Friday April 7th at 1:10 P.M against the Boston Red Sox. We will have multiple buses running Detroit Tigers opening day party bus shuttles from various local bars to take you and drop you off downtown to celebrate the day and then pick you up later in the day to ensure you a safe ride home.
